Dry Pro has been great to work with. When our upstairs AC leaked into the subfloor and drywall, their team did a thorough inspection and dried everything out with their equipment. When we found a water spot in the ceiling under the master shower, Adrian and his team turned a stressful situation into a quick diagnosis, quick dry out, and quick cleanup. Friendly, detail-oriented, and they care about doing it right. I highly recommend them.

I’ve referred several of my plumbing clients to Adrienne and the team at DryPro, and they’ve consistently delivered exceptional results. Their communication is clear, they show up when they say they will, and they handle the job professionally without any unnecessary upselling. It’s important for me to trust the companies I recommend because their work reflects on my business too. DryPro has earned that trust, and I would confidently recommend them to anyone needing restoration or water-damage services.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Adrian and his team at DryPro. I was referred to Adrian, the owner, through a neighbor after finding mold in our kitchen pantry. As a mom of two young children, finding mold in your home is alarming and scary, and I honestly didn’t know what to do. Adrian took my call immediately and completely put my mind at ease. I explained what was going on, and his amazing team showed up that same day with air scrubbers so everything could be handled safely while we waited for the drywall to dry enough to remove it. When they came back to do the remediation, they explained everything to me, were incredibly honest and kind, and made sure my family was safe throughout the entire process. Thankfully, the mold issue wasn’t too bad, but Adrian still treated it with urgency and care. He gave me a quote quickly, the turnaround was incredibly fast, and he even personally came out to make sure he didn’t see anything further that concerned him. Normally, something like finding mold in my home would have sent my anxiety through the roof, but Adrian and his employees genuinely took care of us. I felt heard, seen, and understood exactly what was happening every step of the way. I am so thankful we found a company that is honest, trustworthy, responsive, and truly cares about the families they are helping. I would recommend DryPro and Adrian to anyone without hesitation. They truly went above and beyond for our family, and I am incredibly grateful!

I can’t say enough good things about Dry Pro Inc. Every single time I’ve called, they’ve been available, responsive, and ready to help. I’ve referred them to several of my real estate clients when questions or concerns have come up with their properties, and they’ve always taken the time to assess the situation, explain what’s going on, and put my clients at ease. I’ve also personally seen them step in when a friend had a major kitchen issue from a leaking dishwasher, and they handled the situation quickly and professionally. As a Realtor, it’s incredibly important to have reliable professionals I can confidently refer to my clients, and Dry Pro is definitely one of them. I know when I make that call, they’re going to show up and take care of things. Highly recommend!

Adrian was recommended to me after a rental unit had water intrusion from under the windows. The team at DryPro was able to come out immediately and assess the problems including moisture in drywall that was overlooked/ignored by property management. Fast, honest, professional service. Highly recommended!

I’m a real estate professional and I only will recommend companies to my clients if I would use them myself. Adrian was fantastic! Honest, respectful and reliable!

Step 1 – Make Sure Your Home Is Safe First

Before worrying about cleanup or damage, your safety comes first.

If water is actively entering your home:

  • Shut off the main water supply if the issue is plumbing-related
  • Avoid standing water near electrical outlets or appliances
  • Turn off power to affected areas if necessary

In many Lakewood Ranch homes, like those in Esplanade or The Lake Club, along with Bradenton homes in River Club, water damage often starts in garages, laundry rooms, kitchens, or first-floor living spaces. If the situation feels unsafe, leave the area and call a professional immediately.

Step 2 – Stop the Source of the Water If Possible

Stopping the water quickly can significantly limit the amount of damage.

Common water damage causes we see locally include:

  • Burst or leaking pipes
  • Failed water heaters located in garages
  • AC drain line clogs (very common in Florida homes)
  • Roof leaks after heavy rainstorms
  • Appliance failures like washing machines or dishwashers

If you can safely stop the source, do so. If not, don’t panic. Professional restoration teams are trained to handle active water situations.

Step 3 – Call a Professional Water Damage Restoration Company Immediately

When it comes to water damage, timing is everything.

Water spreads fast and can:

  • Soak into drywall, insulation, and flooring
  • Travel underneath baseboards and tile
  • Create ideal conditions for mold growth in Florida’s humid climate

Because DryPro, Inc. is headquartered in Lakewood Ranch, we can respond quickly throughout Bradenton and nearby areas, helping reduce damage and overall repair costs.

Step 4 – Document the Damage for Insurance Purposes

If you plan to file an insurance claim:

  • Take clear photos and videos of all affected areas
  • Write down where the water came from
  • Save damaged items when it’s safe to do so

Do not delay mitigation just to gather documentation. Insurance companies typically expect homeowners to take immediate steps to prevent further damage.

Step 5 – Remove Standing Water and Begin Professional Drying

Removing visible water is only the beginning.

Proper water damage restoration includes:

  • Professional water extraction
  • Strategic placement of air movers and dehumidifiers
  • Moisture readings inside walls, floors, and cabinets
  • Ongoing monitoring until the structure is fully dry

In many Lakewood Ranch homes with tile flooring, water can remain trapped underneath the surface and spread without visible signs.

Step 6 – Watch for Hidden Damage and Mold Risk

Florida homes are especially vulnerable to mold after water damage.

Signs of hidden damage may include:

  • Musty or damp odors
  • Warped baseboards or flooring
  • Stains on walls or ceilings
  • Increased indoor humidity

At DryPro, we use professional moisture detection tools to ensure your home is truly dry, not just on the surface.

Step 7 – Avoid DIY Repairs Until Drying Is Complete

Once drying is complete, repairs may be necessary, such as:

  • Drywall removal and replacement
  • Baseboard or flooring repairs
  • Cabinet drying or reconstruction
  • Painting and finish work

Starting repairs too early can trap moisture and cause long-term issues. Restoration must always come before rebuilding.

Why Fast Action Matters in Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton

Florida’s heat and humidity accelerate water damage, meaning:

  • Waiting even 24 hours can increase repair costs
  • Mold can begin developing quickly
  • Insurance claims may become more complicated

Working with a local, experienced restoration company helps protect both your property and your claim.
